From development to orchestrating dozens of trades, we take ownership of every aspect of the project to turn your vision into a reality.
Our Step By Step Process
To make the renovation or build process as easy for our clients as possible, no matter how large your projects are, we offer the following five steps to the design process. From our consultation and collaboration to completion, the LM Design Interiors team communicates with you while handling the many moving parts that go into creating your beautiful new family home.
Consultation
We will host an initial meeting to discuss your needs and desires, wish list, and budget/ allowances in order to create a vision for your home. We will block out a twoi hour timeframe which will allow us the opportunity to get to know each other and decide how we will transform your rooms or ideas into a cohesively beautiful and functional home.
Presentation & Contract
With the consultation completed, LMD will work to come up with designs for the desired rooms. We will present conspectional designs via mood board and finish samples. Depending on the scale of the project, phased presentations might accord multiple times. If revisions or edits are requested, we’ll finely tune them by sourcing alternatives so you have the perfect design plan you’ll love. Having developed the preliminary design plan, including the scope of work and budget. We will meet to sign a Letter of Agreement, customized for your project. Once this document is signed by both parties and a retainer is received, we will begin the project Planning Phase.
Planning Finilized/ Implementation
The Planning Phase starts with our team will pull together all the design details we developed and worked on. Since construction is likely involved, we’ll meet with trades and contractors to confirm your wish list possibilities. Finally, we will source furnishings, finishes, and fixtures, as well as work on the design plans which we will share with you as the process moves along. Once you’ve approved your design, we contact our suppliers and keep track of timelines, deliveries, and coordination with any contractors. Working in alignment with our contractor/ developer, we will oversee the execution of the Design Plans. Creating a no-stress zone for you, as we project manage the design and build process by handling everything.
Final
With everything installed and inspection underway. We will present you with your home. Please give us a day to photograph your stunning new home for our design portfolio.
